DRIVING RANGE, SHORT GAME FACILITY & COACHING ACADEMY
Ashton & Lea Golf Club are proud to offer their new high quality coaching and practice facility “The Academy”, greatly enhancing the Club's capability to offer golfers the full golfing experience . Golfers of all abilities, from beginners to experienced can benefit from top class coaching. Whichever aspect of your game you want to improve, there is the Driving Range and the Short Game Facility - probably the best in the area! If that wasn't enough, all the skills developed can be then tested on the acclaimed 18-hole parkland course. Free parking is available and loan clubs will be available to hire. Ball availability for both facilities is via the Reception area within the Driving Range. High quality Srixon golf balls will be utilised across the Driving Range and Short Game Area.
DRIVING RANGE
The range comprises 14 floodlit bays (9 covered and 5 in the open) and a target area that will cater for the 250+yd "BIG-HITTERS!".
There is also a fully equipped coaching studio, which is home to the Gary Edge School of Golf.
DRIVING RANGE MEMBERSHIP
The Club welcomes members of the public to use the range. If you wish to become a range member simply visit the pro shop and fill out a form. Alternatively, if you buy one of our special discount packages you get the card free. Range membership entitles you to use our fabulous short game practice area and the Club house facilities. Range members who subsequently wish to become full members, will receive details of special offers available.
Juniors are particularly welcome at the academy. However, juniors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Short Game Facility
The Short Game Facility provides a practice area for Ladder Drills, Bunker Play and Chipping.
